All I Want for Christmas
… is to finish all the work I have to do before I go on vacation in ten days.
But seriously, if you want to get me something for Christmas, and God Bless You, you wonderful person you, then here are some little things that would bring me joy:
Kindle 3G with keyboard.
Shiny black Doc Martens (or the elusive original 90s florals - but beware, these are nearly impossible to find in my size and when you do they cost a million dollars, i.e. too much). Warning: docs are in UK sizes: I think I’m a UK Size 6.5 or 7.
A massage and a facial, so a gift certificate to Bliss, or Mario Badescu would be awesome - check out Mario’s “Quick Pick Me Up” - pretty good deal.
Subscriptions to The New Yorker and/or The Gentlewoman.
I always need a gift certificate to Sephora. Always. Other great gift-card ideas include: Anthropologie, Amazon, H&M, and Urban Outfitters.
Exercise clothing by New Balance, a yoga mat, and/or new running shoes.
When in doubt: I love books, cookbooks, candles, stationery, and jewelry.
And French bulldogs.
