Crowdest

Yesterday at brunch, in exhaustion, I commented that I had never seen the restaurant so “crowdest.” Yup. I’m tired.
I’ve been up to a few things. On TruTv.com, you can finding me blogging about conspiracy theories, everything from Princess Diana to the JFK assassination, to Sex Conspiracies and UFOs. There will be more to come, but if you’d like to talk about the grassy knoll, feel free to page me at 1-800-FOX-MULDER.
For The Barnes & Noble Review, I wrote about Mark Whitaker’s memoir My Long Trip Home. Who is Mark Whitaker? He was the first black senior editor at Newsweek. This book is really less of a memoir, and more the compelling story of his parents, not unlike Obama’s Dreams of My Father.
Finally, I reviewed F. Scott Fitzgerald’s writings On Booze for The New Inquiry. Feeling low? I highly recommend reading this book. Even F. Scott F-ing Fitzgerald had low self-esteem. What have you been up to lately? Oh, nothing, just writing The Great Gatbsy. No big D. Pour me a gin.
I wonder if I’ll have time to see Melancholia this week, or, more importantly, Breaking Dawn. I’d also like to buy a kindle. I think I broke my hand this morning trying to read 11/22/63 on the train.
